Was surprised by it;very soft on one side,and the fleece side is even better for giving a soft,warm,feeling...just like your DD214 should do. Very pleased by how it is made and constructed,and well worth the money.
I have a buddy retiring, and thought this would make for a great & funny gift. I thought it was a little overpriced for a blanket, but ordered it anyways because hey- You only retire once, right? When it arrived, it was immediately apparent why the price was what it was.
The quality on the blanket is something else. I was expecting some cheap synthetic fleece with printing on it that would peel away after the first wash. Nope- not this. I’m not a connoisseur of textile products, so I lack the vocabulary to adequately describe it. The look and feel of this blanket are top notch. The printed side has a sort of sheen to it and it feels like silk. The reverse side is fluffy and nice to the touch. This thing would be equally well-suited for snuggling up on the couch with a cup of cocoa in front of the fire or displayed as a tapestry in the great hall of a viking king. 10/10 eould recommend!
